Inauguration Ceremony

The inauguration ceremony of the Indian Science and Technology Center in memory of Late Shri Mahesh Chandra Joshi was successfully held on 8 Feb in Gram Nivaniya, District Dewas. The program was attended by special guests Mr. Vipul Rawat Ji, Co Coordinator from Punarutthan Trust, Ahmedabad, and Mr. Shriram Kane Ji, Madhya Pradesh Coordinator from Hindu Janajagruti Samiti. The event was conducted in two sessions.

In the first session, the guests delivered their addresses. After that, the center’s founder, Dr. Parikshit Joshi, introduced the Indian technologies available at the center to village people of gram Niwania, including an Bull -driven oil press (ghani), an Bull-driven system for grinding lime and sand and preparing mortar, an Bull -driven sugarcane juice extractor, a furnace for producing iron from iron ore, a handloom for weaving cloth from thread, agricultural tools, and a potter’s wheel for making clay utensils.

He stated that India became known as the “Golden Bird” because of such technologies. Products made using this traditional knowledge are of excellent quality, long-lasting, and environment-friendly, and they also make use of animal power.
